Welcome to bodyworksgym.ie. This is the home of the Bujinkan Brian Dojo, where tradition meets innovation. The warrior art of Ninjutsu was introduced to Ireland by 8th Dan Shihan Brian McCarthy in 1983. He was the first Irish blackbelt to be graded in Japan by Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi Soke. In 1987 Hatsumi Soke made his first visit to Europe and was guest of honour at the Bujinkan Brian Dojo (BBD) Matsuri (training camp) that year. The BBD continues to teach authentic Ninjutsu to dojos in several European countries, with its Hombu (headquarters) based here in Dublin. 

 

BodyWorks Gym operates within the BBD dojo to cater for a wide variety of interests in martial arts training. Numerous experienced people offer a range of classes including, but not limited to:
